Camporama Times
Singh is King!!!

Camporama 2009
Was at Camporama 2009 held at Benum Hill Resort, Raub. This is my first national ranger camp after 5 years. It certainly brought back alot of wonderful memories and I even met some old friends too.
The camp was great. The team spirit and the creativity shown in the songs, yells, city decorations and city visitations were amazing. These can only be seen in a Royal Rangers camps. Our little communist city won the Intercity Championship which consist of the Ultimate Freesbee, Great Cardboard Regatta and Laser Tag Challenge.
After 4 tiring yet fulfiling days...there's a phrase that's stuck to my head.
"Singh is King!!!"
The end of one is the beginning of another...
Sell Out!
"Malaysian movie ar..not worth watching lar...."
"Why waste money on local movies? Not nice also..."
"Eeww...I'll never go to the cinema to watch a local movie."
If you ever said one of the above statements or something similar to it...SHAME ON YOU! Try watching Sell Out!

Here the trailer for the movie:
Here another trailer:
Words cannot actually describe how good this movie is. Seriously, this is currently my personal BEST this year which includes big blockbusters like Wolverine and Star Trek. Those can't even begin to compare to this AWESOME movie.
Go to the cinema to catch while you still can or if you missed it, go buy the VCD/DVD and watch it. You'll never regret it!
Have you ever had a karaoke session in the cinema? No? Then go watch "Sell Out!" (this is not a joke)
Bible Surgeons
Monsters, Dinosaurs and Friends
Jacintha, John and Heidi wanted to take me out for dinner on my birthday. And since me and Jacintha arrived early in MidValley, we decided to go see the Monsters and Dinosaurs exhibition there. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Some ganas looking lizard :P

Long-neck
There was also a display of this huge shoe there. I think it is to show us the size of us in comparison to the displays there.

Looks Adidas-ish :)
There was also this 6-legged robot insect there to play with.

Scorponox wannabe
After that, we met up with John and Heidi and headed for Pasta Zanmai for dinner.

A Short Prayer
The Shack
I bought a book on Friday and finished reading it by Sunday. It's called "The Shack".

It is truly an amazing book. The book tells the story of Mack, whose daughter Missy was abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the wilderness. Four years later, he received a letter , apparently from God, inviting him back to the shack for the weekend. What follows is an amazing story of how Mack's world was changed forever.
Apparently, this book is very popular. It has been No.1 on the New York bestseller list for 35 weeks. It is also a subject of ongoing high profile criticism. Just google the book's name and the top in the list is a Youtube video of a pastor disproving the book and explaining the 'errors' in the book.
This is my view. The book is listed as an Inspirational Fiction. Therefore, it's a story meaning to inspire us in life and not a book to teach us lessons from the Bible. There are some things in the book we might not agree on like the author's portrayal of the Trinity but there are also a lot of lessons we can learn from Mack's experience like his journey of forgiveness. Always refer back to the Bible if you are in doubt about anything.
Big Buck Bunny
Ms Rachel Loh says the bunny in the following animation looks like me. Please watch it and take the poll on the left :)
